In 1998 Festival Records in Australia remastered and released all of Olivia's albums, up until the late 80s, on CD. The Australian CD release of the Rumour featured It's Always Australia For Me co-written by Olivia. This track was not on other international releases. The 1998 re-issue date can be seen on the CD.

The album was originally released during the 1988, the year of the Australian Bicentennial. To mark the occasion, Olivia made the videogram for the album in Australia - called Olivia Down Under.

It's Always Australia For Me can also be found on the Australasian Tour Souvenir 1998 compilation and the Japanese CD Box Set - 40th Anniversary Collection released in 2010.
