In Australia this album is titled Greatest Hits Volume 2 because the album First Impressions was released as Great Hits First Impressions.
Olivia's albums, up to and including 1989's Warm and Tender album, were remastered and released onto CD in Australia back in 1998 by the Festival label.
A great collection of Olivia's early work, this album did well in the album charts as she was entering the peak of her career. There are slight differences in tracks between the Australian version, the European version, the Japanese and the North American release.
Olivia recalls she was sitting in her convertible car in the driveway of her Malibu ranch for the cover shot, as related in the booklet with the 40th Anniversary Japanese CD boxset.
This album was released for its 45th anniversary in the USA, Japan and Australia.
