Australian comedian Norman Gunston (real name Gary McDonald) visits Olivia's LA Koala Blue store for his Australian TV show. He doesn't get off to the best of starts mistaking Olivia for a shop assistant, not the boss! All this, of course, is played for comedic effect and Olivia joins in perfectly with some lovely facial expressions.
Norman approaches the subject of the tremendous
age difference between Olivia and her boyfriend. After confirming that Olivia met him during Xanadu, he asks what's Mr Kelly is like! As Olivia introduces Norman to her business partner, Pat Farrar, he remembers that Pat used to appear on Australian Bandstand and asks if she hasn't since changed her name to Peter Allen. Olivia and Pat are left in tears of laughter.
Olivia also appeared on the Norman Gunston Show back in 1978.
