Olivia Newton-John's Instagram has been taken over by Weight Watchers in a shocking beyond the grave deal to monetise the memorial account's 805,000 Instagram followers.

Michael Caprio, Olivia's agent of 27 years, confirmed that the new Weight Watchers collaboration was sanctioned by the late singer's team.

This is all done with the estate and her label, Primary Wave, Caprio told Sunday Confidential.

Six weeks ago, Weight Watchers announced the Livin' Physical campaign with a video posted to Olivia Newton John's account set to a remixed version of her iconic '80s hit.

The lyrics let's get physical have been swapped with let's get clinical, as the weight loss and diet juggernaut unveiled its new team of in-app doctors and medication subscriptions.

Surprise! Our brand-new campaign is here—and we’re thrilled to partner with the estate of the legendary Olivia Newton-John to unveil it, the caption began.

We hope you enjoy our twist on her classic hit Physical — and you can follow her page for WW-friendly activations all month.

Since then, more than 20 promotional posts have pushed Weight Watchers activations including diet meals, workout videos, and workout playlists in the Grease star's name.

It's a shame how they are discrediting Olivia Newton John's legacy, wrote a third.

Fans have been quick to slam Weight Watchers pushing meds with the new campaign and are saying they will be forced to unfollow the account.

Oof, feel like this missed the mark, one person commented. Can't believe I'm gonna have to unfollow "the real ONJ", penned another, who swiftly hit the unfollow button.

You're asking people for money after an auction that gave her daughter and husband god knows how much money, while people are suffering in Los Angeles, where Olivia lived for 40 years.

I am a die hard Olivia fan, but enough is enough.

Caprio did not comment on where the funds raised from the two auctions of Olivia's belongings were directed, or whether the partnership with WW was organised prior to her death.

Daily Mail Australia has approached Caprio for comment.

The beloved Australian singer and actor died on on August 8, 2022 after a long journey with breast cancer.

It is estimated that she died with a net worth of around $US60 million ($A85.9 million) from her illustrious entertainment career spanning 15 films, 26 studio albums, six soundtracks, and 70 singles.

Olivia's daughter Chloe Lattanzi, 39, announced she moved from California to Florida in an Instagram Live this week because California is too expensive.

The price is ridiculously affordable. We left California because it was too expensive. This is amazing. Everything has just been flowing, We have been divinely lead here, she said.

Chloe, whose Instagram bio states she is carrying on an angel's legacy and creating my own, shared a highly edited selfie of her augmented physique last fortnight spruiking her new music.

I have so much music to release and I’m in the midst of moving and healing and changing my whole life! she wrote in the caption.

Then she added bizarrely, These things take more time when you are an independent artist who funds themselves.

As Olivia's only child, Chloe inherited the bulk of her mother's fortune.

Olivia is a very wealthy woman, much wealthier than people imagine. She owns a lot of property in her hometown of Melbourne, and earns millions still each year from her songs and films, a close family friend told Woman's Day in 2019. This will all go to Chloe.
